Loop Vase #4
My angular vase with hand-painted surface design in the ‘loop’ pattern in chartreuse and electric blue.
Initially turned as a solid model on a plaster lathe, this outcome is a result of the traditional processes involved in mold-making. This piece has been slip-casted using stoneware clay, and glazed with a transparent lead-free glaze.
A pleasure for the eyes! This little vase only stands approx 20cm tall, but allows for great volume and is really effective with both dried and fresh flowers. A personal favourite - but all good things must come to an end. These pieces may no longer be produced from 2024 onwards.
